Opening Times

School Day

Children should arrive between 8:45am and 8:55am by the Church side access roadway. Children arriving early can wait at the green gate to be safe away from the road and busy junction. Children enter their classrooms through this side door to prepare for the day.

The gate is closed promptly at 8:55am in order for teaching and learning to begin at 9:00am. Teachers have short, focussed activities for the children to work through from 8:45am so it is essential your children arrive as quickly as possible.

Any children arriving after 9:20am will be marked with an unauthorised absence.

Please avoid parking at the school gates as this can be dangerous for children walking into school.

Arriving on time is very important for your child to settle before the lesson starts and to ensure registration is accurate for safety reasons. Being late does upset your child and we do not want them to miss out on any valuable teaching and learning time.

Please contact the school office if you are running late to collect your child or if someone different is collecting your child/ren from school.

Children need to be collected promptly at 3:25pm, unless attending after-school clubs.
